HOW THE MEMORY BOX WORKS
1. FILL THE BOX UP WITH YOUR PRINTS (as long as they are 8"x10" and smaller)
2. Choose your final memory preservation output.
3. Drop off your box at Lakeside Camera where we will scan your iamge- Your images are safe with us, they will never leave our facilities. Every image is handled by a real human, who will then color and contrast each image throughout the scanning process.
4. Pick up your original photos and receive your digital scans on a CD.

MEMORY CATALOG
If you do nothing else with your scans, commit them to a Memory Catalog. Every Memory Catalog is hardbound, features nine images per page (not tiny thumbnails like a contact sheet). Enjoy this book like any other photo album. The file number listed underneath each image corresponds to the digital image file we create when we do your scans. Inside the back cover, we’ll secure an archival CD with all of the files from your project. Ever want to access a picture in the future? Simply put the disk in your computer and locate the file number listed under the image. This is the perfect way to organize and preserve your photo history.
HEIRLOOM BOOKS
Our most elegant book offerings are our Heirloom books. Each book is custom designed with a selected number of your best images by our talented designers. These books are leather bound and each page is flush mounted for a finish that must be seen to be appreciated. SAFETY DEPOSIT HARDDRIVE
If you’re serious about protecting your photographic images, letters, and other important family treasures in digital form, consider adding a Safety Deposit Drive. Upon completion, we’ll put all digital assets from your scanning project on a small self powered USB hard drive. Picture files, video projects, book layouts, restored image files - everything goes on the drive. As the name implies, we recommend putting at least one of these drives in your safety deposit box for safe keeping.
PHOTO RESTORATIONS
Our computer based restoration process brings new life to old, faded or damaged photographs- black and white or color images. We'll scan your original photos and our digital artists will improve and repair any faded or cracked images, producing a high quality print that will last for generations. Preserve yesterday's memories by having old photographs restored to their original condition, We can fix spots, scratches and tears, restore color, replace backgrounds and even remove people.
DVD PICTURE SLIDESHOWS
DVD's have become the medium of choice for video presentations of all types. Wedding rehearsals, anniversary parties, birthday gatherings and family reunions are all enhanced by including pictures in a high quality presentation with music. At Lakeside Camera Photoworks, each and every image that passes through our facilities is evaluated and optimized by a real human being. That’s right, we rely on our experienced technicians to deliver better pictures to you.
Of course, we have great technology to help us along but there is simply no substitute for experienced photographic printers with great image management skills. We exclusively print on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic papers using state of the art commercial printing equipment. Fuji Crystal Archive is the most fade-resistant photographic paper of all that are currently made, outlasting other major brands by almost a three-to-one margin- this will ensure that your images will last for the decades to come.
